When I was a kid, I had a newspaper route. I thought it would be easy. It wasn’t. But my dad had my back.
He made me a deal: we woke up every morning no matter what, to deliver 70 newspapers as long as I saved half of what I earned.
It was a deal.

That lesson has stayed with me ever since.
